LED streetlamps are being installed on a section of the A453.
National Highways said:
‘As part of our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, we’ll be upgrading the current lighting to LEDs on the A453 between Mill Hill roundabout and Clifton Lane.
‘Our LED works which were due to start early March on the A453 between Mill Hill roundabout and Clifton Lane were delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. Works have now been re-scheduled to the following.
‘We’ll work overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from 2 April 2024 for approximately 3 weeks, Monday to Friday.
‘During our programme of work, we’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum.
‘Access to frontages and emergency services will be maintained throughout.
‘During the closures a fully signed diversion route will be in place below which has been agreed with local authorities.’
