Friday 20 October – Due to flooding, the A52 in Derbyshire is closed eastbound between the B6003 (near Bardills) and A6007 (near Bramcote).
Update: 4 pm A52 Eastbound between Bardills Roundabout and Bramcote Island has been reopened
Lane one (of two) is remaining closed due to surface level water in areas along the stretch of road
National Highways service providers are on the scene.
Diversion Route
- From the A52 (T) M1 J25 interchange, take the slip road onto the M1 north and follow until junction 26.
- Exit on to the A610 eastbound.
- At the A610 /A61002 roundabout, take the last exit onto the A6022 and continue for approx. 4.3 km.
- At the signalised crossroads with the A609, turn left (east) and continue through all the signalised junctions for approx. 3.5 km, until the junction with the A6514.
- Take the last exit off the junction heading south, and after 1.2 km re-join the eastbound A52 (T).
