Nottinghamshire Police attended the incident near to Queen’s Medical Centre at 9:40 pm on Saturday 29 July.
A spokesperson said:
‘The A52 Clifton Boulevard was closed near to the Queen’s Medical Centre at around 9.40pm yesterday (Saturday 29 July) following concerns for a person’s safety.
‘The incident was safely resolved by 12.50 am today (Sunday 30 July) and the road was reopened.’
Earlier on 29 July:
‘The A52 Clifton Boulevard has been closed near the QMC as emergency services respond to concerns for a woman’s safety.
Police were called at around 9.40pm and are being assisted by fire service colleagues.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area while the incident is dealt with.’
