National Highways are starting survey work for the A52 Junction Improvement Scheme tonight ( Tuesday 24 October ).
National Highways said:
‘We’re making good progress with our plans to improve Nottingham Knight and Wheatcroft junctions next year.
‘As part of this, we’ll need to carry out survey work so we can understand the location of underground utility services such as gas pipes and electrical cables.
‘This will help us understand if they need moving to accommodate our improvement work, which is due to begin autumn 2024.’
The survey work we’ll be conducting include; pavement cores, drainage surveys, trial holes, underground utility surveys and any other associated clearance works at both junctions along the A52.
When will this work take place?
The survey works will start on Tuesday 24 October 2023 and will be completed by Saturday 4 November 2023. To minimise disruption to our customers, we’ll work overnight from 8pm to 6am.
