There has been a serious collision on the A52 in Nottinghamshire resulting in closure of the road in both directions between the A606 near Wheatcroft and the A6011 near Gamston.
Emergency services including Nottinghamshire Police are in attendance.
Road users travelling eastbound are advised to leave the A52 at the Wheatcroft Island and take the A606 exit heading towards West Bridgeford.
Follow the A606 to the junction with the A60 and turn right onto the A60 heading towards Nottingham City Centre.
Follow the A60 to the junction with the A6520 and turn right onto the A6520 Radcliffe Road.
Continue on the A6250 to the junction with the A6011 and turn right onto the A6011 heading east.
Follow the A6011 until the roundabout with the A52 at Gamston Island and rejoin the A52 eastbound.
Road users travelling westbound are advised to follow the above diversion but in reverse.
