Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service expects the road to be closed for some time.
A spokesperson said:
‘At 1:05am we were called to a road traffic collision involving a lorry on the A614.
‘The road is still closed between the Junction of Station Road and the Junction between the A614 and B6030, and diversions are in place. Please find alternative routes.

’10:30 UPDATE: the road is still closed and is expected to be closed for some time.
We’re still on scene working with partners to dampen down the fire and make the scene safe.’
AA Roadwatch:
‘Road closed due to earlier lorry fire on A614 Old Rufford Road both ways from Ollerton Roundabout to B6030. Road has been closed since the early hours. Traffic is coping well.’
