A medical emergency at a Nottingham school was responded to by air ambulance and a road ambulance.
A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service said:
‘We received a call at 11.15 am today, Wednesday 10 May to The Oakwood Academy, Bewcastle Road, Nottingham.
‘The caller reported a medical emergency.
‘We sent a crewed ambulance and the air ambulance was also in attendance.
‘We transported one patient to Queen’s Medical Centre via land ambulance.’
The Wire understands from someone connected to the school that parents also collected their children from the school after the incident.
