All you need to know about getting Covid vaccinations in Nottinghamshire

Across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, there are local vaccination services, hospital hubs, pharmacy-led sites, pop-up clinics and a vaccination bus where you can get your vaccination if you are eligible.

Walk-in appointments available
If you are aged 40 or over, in an at risk group, a carer or a frontline health and social care worker who has not yet had your vaccine, you can walk-in to the following vaccination sites without needing to book an appointment: Forest Recreation Ground, King’s Meadow Campus, Gamston Community Centre, Ashfield Health Village, Newark Showground, Richard Herrod Centre and Mansfield Vaccination Centre.

A mobile vaccination bus is offering the Covid-19 vaccine to eligible people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire to help drive uptake amongst eligible groups.

Vaccination Bus 

Over the next two weeks, the bus will be available in the following locations:

4.6.21 – Asda, Hyson Green (10am – 4pm)

09.6.21 – Strelley Social Club (10am – 12:30pm)

10.6.21 – The Pelican Pub, Bilborough (10am – 12:30pm)

Mansfield Vaccination Centre

Uber

Uber are joining the effort to vaccinate as many people as possible, which is why they’ve extended their offer to cover £15 off trips, including the Mansfield Vaccination Centre.
Trips must start or end at the mass-vaccination centre, and are subject to availability. Read more about this offer here.

By Car 

From Sutton-in-Ashfield,

• From the town centre head towards Mansfield and turn left at the traffic lights at the New Cross
• Following the road to the T junction and turn right then left onto Abbott Road (A6075)
• Follow abbot road all the way down to the traffic lights and turn right onto Chesterfield Road (A619)
• Following the road all the way passing the Covid Vaccination Centre on the left all the way to the traffic lights where Tesco will be ahead of you. Take the right hand turn onto Rosemary Street and take your first right.
• You will see signposts for the Car Park and ensure you park in the furthest bay on your left. Car Parking is free and follow the signs to continue on foot to the entrance of the centre.

From Chesterfield  

• Head south out of the town centre on the A632
• Take the right hand turn and at the roundabout take the 1^st exit onto the A617.
• Continue along the A617 going through Heath, Glapwell, Pleasley towards Mansfield.
• Once you have arrived in Mansfield Following the road all the way passing the Covid Vaccination Centre on the left all the way to the traffic lights where Tesco will be ahead of you.  Take the right hand turn onto Rosemary Street and take your first right.
• You will see signposts for the Car Park and ensure you park in the furthest bay on your left.  Car Parking is free and follow the signs to continue on foot to the entrance of the centre.

From Warsop and surrounding areas. 

• Head South on the A60 towards Carr Lane
• Turn right onto A6075
• At the roundabout take the 1^st exit onto Church Hill (A6075)
• At the next roundabout take the 2^nd exit to Priory Road (A6075)
• At the traffic lights turn right onto Chesterfield Road South (A617)
• Once you have arrived in Mansfield Following the road all the way passing the Covid Vaccination Centre on the left all the way to the traffic lights where Tesco will be ahead of you. Take the right hand turn onto Rosemary Street and take your first right.
• You will see signposts for the Car Park and ensure you park in the furthest bay on your left.  Car Parking is free and follow the signs to continue on foot to the entrance of the centre.

From Nottingham 

• There are two main routes into Mansfield from Nottingam.
• Head North on the A60 through Arnold, Ravenshead and Harlow Wood passing the West Notts Colleague on the right.
• After the ringroad in Mansfield take the right hand lane picking up A617
• Passing the Tescos superstore on your left at the traffic lights turn left onto Rosemary Street and the car park is to your right
• You will see signposts for the Car Park and ensure you park in the furthest bay on your left. Car Parking is free and follow the signs to continue on foot to the entrance of the centre.

Queen’s Medical Centre 

The QMC Covid-19 Vaccination Centre is located in the Discharge Lounge, Ward A44, A Floor, South Block of the QMC (21 on this map ).

Enter via the South Entrance, opposite the EENT entrance.

Limited parking for those with mobility issues is available in the bays outside EENT.

Nottingham’s City Hospital

The nearest visitor car park is Car Park 1.

The City Hospital Vaccination Centre is located in the Resuscitation Department (Lambley Ward), on the link corridor opposite Trent Cardiac Centre (Junction W3 on this map ). The unit is in the West block near Junction W3, on the Ground Floor.

The nearest entrance to the Vaccination Centre is South Entrance (Lower Ground). From South Entrance take the stairs or lift up to the Ground Floor. The vaccination centre is clearly signposted. Please ask a member of staff if in doubt, or one of our volunteers who are on hand to help at South Entrance Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.

Limited disabled parking is available in the bays in front of Green Entrance.

There are also two pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinics happening at AlQuba Mosque – FiveWays Centre in Sherwood and As-Shifa
