Police have launched an investigation following reports of a serious sexual assault.

The victim got off a tram in Shipstone Street, before being led down an alleyway and assaulted by an unknown male suspect.
He has been described as white, around 17-years-old, of skinny build, between 5ft 9 and 5ft 10 in height, and had brunette/black hair.
The suspect also reportedly had a moustache and goatee, while he was wearing all black clothing and white trainers.
