Appeal after 18-year-old pedestrian dies in A50 collision

Police are appealing for dashcam footage and information after a fatal collision on the A50.

The incident happened at 2.15 am on 6 January on a slip road onto the A50 at Hilton when a red Nissan Qashqai collided with a pedestrian.

Police say that the pedestrian, an 18-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

‘His family have been made aware and is being supported by specialist officers. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

‘We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone driving in the area with dashcam footage to contact us if they can help with our investigation.’
