Police investigating a disturbance are seeking the public’s help to trace witnesses.
Officers were called to Stanley Road at the junction of Berridge Road, Forest Fields, shortly before 3.40pm, on Thursday (16 June) after receiving reports of an incident involving several cars.
Officers now want to trace the driver of a Vauxhall Insignia who may have been threatened during the altercation.
Detectives are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in that area to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Simon Carter, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are working hard to understand exactly what happened and would ask anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time to come forward and get in touch with us.
“We believe that the driver of the Vauxhall Insignia could have vital information that could assist us with our investigation and are urging them to come forward.”
