Appeal after Cotgrave allotment shed thefts and arson

Officers are appealing for witnesses after thefts from sheds and a fire started on community gardens.

Police in Rushcliffe said:

‘Officers are appealing for witnesses regarding an incident that occurred between the evening of Sunday 27 March and the morning of Monday 28 March on the allotments at the community gardens on Woodview, Cotgrave.

Unknown offenders are reported to have stolen items from sheds at the gardens before then intentionally starting a fire.

It has been reported that there is a potential witness to this incident and officers are urging anyone with information or footage to contact PC 1930 Kemish by ringing 101 and quoting incident number 325 of 28th March 2022.
