Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Emergency services were called to Annesley Lane, Selston, shortly after 8am this morning (9 January), following reports that a blue Hyundai had crashed into a residential property.
The driver – a man in his 50s – was pronounced dead at the scene a short while later.
Officers investigating the incident are now appealing for anyone who saw what happened, and who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage to get in touch with them immediately.
Detective Sergeant Charlotte Henson, of Nottinghamshire Police’s serious collision investigation unit, said:
“Our sympathies remain with the families and friends that have lost their loved one.
“They are being supported by our specially trained officers during this difficult time.
“Anyone with information – including dash-cam or CCTV footage – can call 101 quoting incident number 103 of 9 January, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
