Police are appealing for information after a football supporter had his car stolen on a matchday.
A man in his 50s had parked in Iremonger Road ahead of attending Notts County’s home fixture with Chesterfield on Saturday 15 March.
When he returned after the game, his grey Ford Mustang was no longer there.
He reported the theft to the police and inquiries found it was driven away at approximately 1.40pm.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the theft, or captured the offender on dash cam footage, to come forward.
PC Ryan Prince, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Having your car stolen is very distressing and that is why we are committed to investigating vehicle crime and theft.
“We have pursued a number of lines of inquiry since this theft was reported and are now asking for the public’s help.
“If anyone has any information about this incident or has dash cam footage that could assist us, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 492 of 15 March 2025.”
