Appeal after knifepoint robbery at Nottingham hairdressers

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a knifepoint robbery at a hairdressers in Bramcote Hills, Nottingham.

It happened at Dena’s Salon, in Ewe Lamb Lane, at about 5.30pm yesterday (Friday 6 April 2018).

A masked man entered the store and demanded cash from the till and property from staff and customers. He fled on foot with a quantity of cash and a customer’s mobile phone.

No-one was injured but staff and customers were left shaken by what happened.

The suspect, who ran off towards Cookies Pond, is white, about 5ft 10ins tall and of skinny build. He was wearing a light grey hoodie, pulled over his face, and blue jeans.

Anyone with any information about the robbery is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 676 of 6 April 2018, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
