Appeal after man left with ‘significant injuries’ in attack outside Nottingham club

Officers have issued a fresh appeal for information after a man was assaulted after leaving a club.

Police were called to reports that a man had been punched in the face and verbally abused in Burton Street, Nottingham.

The man suffered fractures to his jaw.

The suspect reportedly left the scene before officers arrived and police have released images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident, which happened at around 3am on Saturday 11 December 2021.

Detective Constable Bethanie Foster, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was an awful incident which left a man with significant injuries to his face, for which he had to receive hospital treatment.
