Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a robbery at a Nottingham jewellery shop.
Officers were called to Cope, in Upper Parliament Street, Nottingham, at 1.48pm today (Tuesday) after two people entered the store wearing motorcycle helmets.
After stealing various items of jewellery they rode away from the scene on a black motorcycle with distinctive blue forks.
Nobody was hurt in the incident and detectives are now working to track down the people responsible.
Detective Sergeant James Hirst said: “This was a distressing incident for those inside the shop and we are working at speed to identify the people responsible.
“To this end I encourage any witnesses who haven’t yet come forward to do so immediately.
“We are particularly keen to hear from any drivers with dashcam footage of a motorcycle in the area being ridden in a reckless or aggressive manner.”
