A man has died following a serious collision on the Pentagon Island in Derby last night (Sunday 12 November).
Emergency services were called to the area at around 8 pm due to reports a man had been hit by a car. He had died at the scene.
Police said:
‘The vehicle did not stop at the scene and an investigation is being carried out.
‘Family liaison officers are in contact with the man’s family and our thoughts are with them at this time.
