Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a woman was hit by a car on a zebra crossing.
The 63-year-old was using the crossing outside a J D Wetherspoon pub in Derby Road, Stapleford, when she was struck by a grey or silver vehicle.
The driver stopped and waited until an ambulance arrive, but then left the scene without leaving her details.
Officers have reviewed CCTV in the area in an effort to trace the driver and are now asking for the public’s help.
Inspector Lisa Schooling, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Thankfully the woman was not seriously injured but it’s important we speak to the driver involved.
“The driver did the right thing in stopping after the collision. She apologised and waited until an ambulance arrive, but left without leaving her details.
“I’d ask the driver to please come forward as it’s important we speak to them about the incident.
“Likewise, if you have dashcam footage of the incident or witnessed the collision, please get in touch.”
The collision happened at approximately 7.55am on 13 December.
