Appeal after pram stolen from outside a shop

Police investigating the theft of a pram from a shop have released an image of a man they’d like to speak to.

Officers were called to Asda, Radford Road, Hyson Green, following reports that a customer’s pram had been taken.

The pram went missing after being left next to the store’s security desk on 8 August 2022.

It is understood to have been taken at some point between 2.45pm and 3pm.

The black pushchair and baby car seat have still not been recovered.

Officers investigating the theft have now released an image taken from CCTV of a man they’d like to question.

Police Constable Sarah Gooch, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The owner of the pushchair is understandably very upset about what happened and is anxious to have their property returned to them.

“We are keen to help them do this and to find the person responsible, so it’s crucial that anyone who has any information comes forward immediately.

“It is also important that anyone who recognises the man in this picture lets us know who he is, as we believe he may be able to assist our investigation.

“Any information can be left by calling the police on 101, quoting incident 538 of 8 August 2022, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
