Appeal after street robbery in The Meadows

PUBLISHED:

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old man was robbed in Meadows Way on 21 March 2019.

The man was walking alone at around 11.50pm when he was approached by two men who grabbed him and pushed him to the ground. They took his phone and bank card before fleeing the scene. They may have been in the area around Bridgeway Centre shortly after the incident.

Both men were described as around 5ft 11ins tall, black and of average build. One of the men was wearing rectangular glasses and they both spoke with a Nottingham accent.

One of the men was possibly wearing a long, blue, puffa-style coat (pictured) with the hood up, dark bottoms and dark footwear.
