Appeal after TV and heater stolen from a garden

Police have released images of two people they’d like to speak to after items were reportedly stolen from outside a house.

Officers were called to Gopher Road, Newark, following reports a television and a diesel heater had been taken from the garden.

The incident is understood to have taken place at around 6.10pm on 17 May 2022.

Police have now released CCTV images of a man and a woman who they believe may be able to shed some light about what happened.

Police Community Support Officer Jo Groom, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “It is extremely important that anyone who witnessed this incident or has any information that could assist our enquiries comes forward.

“We’d particularly like to speak to the man and woman in these pictures, who were in the area around that time and may be able to help with our investigation.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting incident 702 of 17 May 2022, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
