Officers are appealing for public help after two people were seriously injured during a collision in Loughborough yesterday evening (Tuesday 21 January).
The collision occurred around 7.50pm and involved two vehicles, a black Mazda MX5 and a beige Skoda Fabia, which were travelling along Ashby Road towards junction 23 of the M1.
The driver and passenger in the Mazda, both men, were taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. They remain in hospital where their condition has been described as serious.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle beforehand.
Also, anyone who was driving along this road around the time of the incident is asked to get in touch if they recorded any footage on a dashcam.
