Detectives are seeking the public’s help after it is believed a woman was approached by a man who assaulted her and stole her bag.
The victim had reportedly been walking in the Forest Recreation Ground in Nottingham when she was targeted.
Inquiries are ongoing into the incident which happened around 1am on Tuesday 12 August.
Detective Constable Octavia Watson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We’re determined to catch those responsible and are carrying out a number of lines of inquiry including an extensive CCTV trawl.
“We believe the man in this image will be able to assist our investigation.
“He was wearing a distinctive striped top, from top to bottom, and I’d ask anyone who recognises him to come forward as soon as possible.”
