Appeal following suspected arson attack in Huthwaite

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for information after a car was set on fire in Huthwaite which then spread to a house.

The red Vauxhall Astra was destroyed but firefighters prevented it from causing significant damage to the house. No one was hurt.

The incident, in Barker Street, Huthwaite, at around 10.10pm yesterday (Sunday 9 December) is being treated as arson.

Notts Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area between 9.30pm to 10.30pm and may have dash-cam footage from Barker Street or Main Street areas of Huthwaite.

Notts Police would also like to hear from anyone who has private CCTV in the area or anyone who was in the vicinity and saw something suspicious.
