Appeal for witnesses after a serious collision in East Leake

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision between a car and a pedestrian in East Leake earlier this month.

A 55-year-old man suffered serious injuries in the incident in West Leake Road, close to the cross roads with the Sewage treatment works, on Saturday 1 December at around 10.45pm. He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A 67-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed limit in connection with the incident and has been released under investigation at this time.

Nottinghamshire Police would like to speak to anyone who may have been travelling on West Leake Road towards East Leake before the collision, particularly if they have dash-cam footage.
