Detectives investigating a death on the railway in Leicester are today appealing for any witnesses.
Officers were called to the line close to Leicester station at 3.40am on 20 May following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended however sadly, a man in his thirties was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have been informed, and officers continue to work to establish the full circumstances of his death.
They are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the man in the area of New Walk in the hours leading up to his death to come forward to assist with their enquiries.
