Appeal: Pedestrian injured in Sneinton road collision

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called just before 11.45 pm yesterday (29 May) to a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Sneinton Dale.

One man, who was the pedestrian, was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre and has now been discharged with minor injuries.

A 30-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following the collision.

Sneinton Dale is currently closed between Holborn Avenue and Shrewsbury Avenue while officers continue their investigation.

Detective Inspector Parminder Dhillon, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would like to encourage anyone who may have seen what happened to come forward.
