Suspected Class A drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia were seized following a warrant carried out by the Arboretum neighbourhood policing team.

Acting on intelligence, officers attended a property in Radford Road, after 5.30pm last Friday (5 September).

Once they gained access, suspected wraps of heroin, cash, and drug paraphernalia were discovered inside.

A 48-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply the Class A drugs.

PC Jordan Hinds, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“Drug dealing and drug related criminality can have a significant impact on our communities, which includes the vulnerable people who become addicted to them.

“We will continue to take action and listen to community intelligence to conduct warrants just like this as we work to keep our residents safe from harm and to disrupt criminal activity.

“I would urge anyone who has any information about potential drug activity in their area to always contact the police on 101 – we’re here to support and act.”
