Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘Officers were called this morning after concerns were raised for a man’s safety. We are urging people to avoid the area.’
‘ROAD CLOSURE: Officers have closed Shireoaks Common, Shireoaks, near Worksop, as we deal with an ongoing incident.

Unconfirmed witness reports suggest that police have cordoned the area off from Monks Way Armed police are on the scene.
