Police investigating a series of house burglaries have arrested a suspect.
Three break-ins were reported in the Wollaton and Beechdale areas of Nottingham on 18 February, 20 March and 27 March in Spean Drive, Wollaton Hall Drive and Eskdale Drive respectively.
A 39-year-old man was stopped at a service station in Staffordshire in the early hours of Friday morning and arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Detective Constable Colin Kirkup, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “These kinds of break-ins are horrible for victims to experience and can leave them feeling insecure in their own homes.
“That’s why the force employs two specialist teams of detectives to investigate them and bring offenders to justice.
“I am pleased we now have a suspect in custody in relation to these incidents and our investigation continues.”
