Arrest after cars stolen from Ruddington address following a burglary

Detectives investigating a report of two cars being stolen following a burglary have arrested a man as part of their enquiries.

Police were called Flawforth Lane in Ruddington on Monday 7 September after it was reported that car keys had been stolen in a house burglary and the cars had been taken from the drive.

Nottinghamshire Police has been working to establish the circumstances of the incident and yesterday, a 27-year-old man was arrested in Derbyshire on suspicion of burglary in connection with the report.

Detective Sergeant Lauren Morgan, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Nottinghamshire Police is committed to tackling burglary and thoroughly investigates all reports made to the force.

“We are now questioning a man as part of our enquiries into the report of burglary from 7 September.

“While we are pleased to have made an arrest, our enquiries are still ongoing into this incident and I’d appeal for anyone who may have any information on the burglary to get in touch.”
