Arrest after firearm discharge in Nottingham

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a firearms discharge in Bilborough last week.

He has been interviewed by detectives and released on police bail, with conditions, while further investigations are carried out.

No one was hurt in the incident on Bramerton Road in Bilborough at around 11.30pm on Thursday 3 October 2019.

One other man, aged 31, was arrested on Friday 4 October following the incident and is on police bail pending further enquiries.

Detective Inspector Ruby Burrow, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers continue to work extremely hard on this investigation, and while enquiries including CCTV and witness accounts can take time to follow through we are committed to catching those responsible.

“We still want to hear from anyone who has information that may help the enquiry, no matter how small they think it might be.”
