Police in Nottingham city centre have arrested a suspect following reports of a man exposing himself in public.
Police were called to Lister Gate, Nottingham, following reports that a man had exposed himself to two women at approximately 11.15 pm on Wednesday (30 October).
A 31-year-old man was arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of exposure and taken into custody for questioning.
Sergeant Jono Pothecary said: “This was an extremely upsetting incident for the victims, and we are grateful to them for assisting officers in making this arrest.
“Nottinghamshire Police treats all offences of this nature extremely seriously. In this case, we arrested a suspect within minutes of the report and will continue to act fast whenever incidents such as this are reported to us.”
