Arrest after Nottingham city McDonald’s window smashed

A teenager was arrested after approximately £1,000 worth of damage was caused to a McDonald’s branch.

Police were called to Angel Row, Nottingham city centre, after a window panel was smashed shortly before 2.15am this morning (18 August).

An 18-year-old man was detained by security guards and subsequently arrested by attending officers for criminal damage.

Sergeant Simon Lacey, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was completely unacceptable behaviour and will not be tolerated in Nottingham.

“I would like to thank the security staff for quickly alerting us to the situation so that a suspect could be swiftly arrested.
