Arrest after stabbing at Nottingham’s Pryzm nightclub

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Nottingham city centre.

Officers were called to Pryzm at around 4am on 4 December 2019 after reports that a 21-year-old man had been stabbed in the abdomen.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening, he continues to work towards a full recovery.

Detective Sergeant Lee Cattell, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Nottinghamshire Police takes knife crime incredibly seriously and will investigate all reports thoroughly.

“This incident could have been fatal and we are working tirelessly to understand what happened.

“While it was in December, I would ask anyone who may have been in the area at that time or has any memory or dashcam footage of what happened to get in touch as soon as possible.”
