A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Forest Road East.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called just after 3.45 am today (18 July) to a report that a man had been stabbed at an address in Forest Road East.
An 18-year old man has been taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Detective Sergeant Jon Kerry, who is investigating the incident, said: “I understand the concerns that incidents such as this can cause in the community. I would like to reassure people that officers responded within minutes to ensure that there was no risk to the wider public.
“It’s never acceptable to carry or use a weapon and we will continue our tireless efforts to tackle knife crime in our city.”
