Two men have been arrested after officers successfully raided two properties.
Officers simultaneously executed warrants at two separate address today (6 September 2021).
The Rushcliffe Reacher team gathered in Gertrude Road, Lady Bay and Chaplefield Grove, Bingham, after police proactively followed up on intelligence about suspected drugs activity.
The co-ordinated raids resulted in the recovery of various items including mobile phones, knives and drug related paraphernalia.
A number of officers carried out the warrant on a property on Gertrude Road and gained entry to the house by smashing a window pane on the front door before ramming it open and storming inside.
Footage also shows police vehicles parked along the residential street in Lady Bay, before acting upon the warrant and making an arrest.
Officers from the Rushcliffe Reacher team can then be seen storming the property before conducting a search of the address.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs and possession of offensive weapons.
A further 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
Rushcliffe Reacher Sergeant James Ross, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “When we receive intelligence about the supply of drugs we will investigate and we will take action.
“Drug dealing and related crime causes considerable harm to our communities and will not be tolerated anywhere in Nottinghamshire.
“We were acting on information from the public about incidents in this area and the Rushcliffe Reacher team will always endeavour to take complaints like that extremely seriously.
