Two additional suspects have been arrested after gunshots were reported in a residential street.
Police were called to Blundell Close, St Ann’s, at 12.25am on Thursday 19 September and later arrested three men on suspicion of affray.
Two other suspects were detained yesterday (Wednesday) – one of them by armed officers in the Radford area.
A 20-year-old man is being held on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
A 21-year-old man is being held on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life and assault.
The other arrested suspects remain on police bail as investigations continue.
Detective Sergeant Alana Scott, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“We have been working hard to understand what happened during this incident and to identify all the people involved.
“I am pleased we have now been able to arrest two further suspects and our investigation will now continue.”
