Detective Sergeant Frank Guddemi, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“This was a horrible attack on a teenage girl, who was understandably left shaken up as a result.

“Robbery is an incredibly serious offence that can leave a lasting emotional impact on anyone targeted.

“It’s important, therefore, that any reports are responded to by the police in a quick and focused manner that befits this seriousness.

“Bearing this in mind, we’re pleased to have been able to track down and arrest two suspects in connection with this incident.

“We want to stress, however, that we’re still investigating this, so we would urge anyone who saw what happened or has any CCTV, mobile, dashcam, or other footage to share it with us.

“This can be reported to the police on 101, quoting incident 490 of 27 January 2025, while Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
