Two suspects were arrested shortly after a man was robbed.
The victim, a man in his thirties, was confronted at a property on Goodliffe Street, in Forest Fields, Nottingham, at around 11.30am yesterday (Saturday).
He was then assaulted and had items including his bank cards taken from him.
Police were called and later arrested two men, aged 26 and 19, on suspicion of robbery.
They have since been released on police bail.
The victim was later treated in hospital but was not seriously injured.
Detective Sergeant Andy Buxton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a frightening ordeal for the victim, who we believe may have been known to his attackers.
“Officers were very quickly on the scene and were soon able to apprehend two suspects. Incidents like this can have a lasting impact on victims and are treated with the utmost seriousness by Nottinghamshire Police.
“Anyone with additional information about what happened yesterday is asked to call 101 quoting incident 101 of 8 January 2022.”
