Inspector James Ross, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“Firstly, I’d like to thank the member of the public who spotted this break-in taking place and called in so promptly.

“We are always grateful for calls like this as it gives us the best chance of catching suspects in the act.

“The response officers should also be commended for their rapid arrival on the scene and for detaining these three suspects.

“We always endeavour to attend any report of a burglary promptly as we understand the impact both residential and commercial break-ins can have on victims.

“Business owners and staff should not have to come into their place of work to discover an intruder has been on their premises.

“Investigations remain ongoing, and anyone who can assist should call 101, quoting incident 716 of 24 September 2025, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
