Police investigating a burglary at a student complex have arrested two people.
A laptop was stolen from an apartment in Belward Street at around 5pm on 30 November.
Enquiries have since led to the arrest of a 29-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man on suspicion of burglary.
Detective Constable Tim Townsend, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Burglary is a really upsetting crime for victims – it is horrible to find that someone has been into your house and rifled through your belongings.
“That’s why we work so hard to disrupt this type of crime and we will always investigate as thoroughly as we can with the evidence available to us.
“Student properties often contain multiple premium items such as laptop computers, phone and televisions, and can be a very tempting target for thieves.
“With long, dark nights now upon us it is more important than ever to make sure your home is secure.”
