Attempted car theft near East Leake play area

Officers are looking for two men who attempted to steal a women's car near to the children's play area.

Nottinghamshire Police is appealing for information and witnesses following an attempted robbery in East Leake.

The incident happened around 10pm on Thursday 21 March 2019 at Meadow Park car park off Gotham Road in East Leake.

Officers are looking for two men who attempted to steal a woman’s car near to the children’s play area.

The first man is described as black, 6ft tall, slim build,  believed to be between 18-22-years-old, wearing a black hoody and a black balaclava.

Meanwhile the second man is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, slim build, believed to be between 18-22-years-old, wearing a dark coat and a scarf covering his mouth.

No items or vehicles were taken.
