The hide is in need of urgent repairs to its staircase.
Attenborough Nature Reserve said:
‘Please be aware that the raised ‘Tower’ hide between Wheatear Field and Clifton Pond is temporarily closed from today.
‘We are sorry for any inconvenience.
‘The Trust has recently invested in significant repairs to the hide, but a subsequent inspection has identified that repairs to the stair case, scheduled for next year, are now urgent.

‘To keep visitors safe we have no option but to close the hide.
‘We are working to get the hide open as soon as specialist contractors are available to carry out the work.’
