Author Kate Mosse to visit Nottinghamshire’s Woodborough Hall this weekend

The Woodborough Hall team is delighted to host award winning author, Kate Mosse.

The event which is being organised by Lowdham bookstore, The Bookcase (recent winner of the Muddy Stilettos best bookshop award), will take place on Saturday 15th July at 11am.

Kate is an award-winning author of eight novels, short story collections, essays, non-fiction titles and is also a much-loved playwright. In addition, she has written for well recognised national newspapers and has regularly appeared on TV.

Kate will be talking about her latest book, The Ghost Ship which is the third title in her bestselling Joubert Family Chronicles. She will also be talking about her writing life and the many projects she has founded and championed in the book industry.

Woodborough Hall reopened under new ownership at the end of 2022 following five months of sympathetic refurbishment.

The Hall functions as a hospitality venue consisting of a variety of restaurant and coffee areas, which are perfect for hosting weddings and events.

There is a full service dining menu including lunch, afternoon tea and coffee, with the recently launched evening dining menu receiving a number of very positive independent reviews.

The second phase of refurbishment was recently completed, with five bedrooms now available for booking.
