Beckside: One-way system in place for three nights for gas connections

Roadworks that will affect traffic flow on Beckside in West Bridgford, starting from the junction with Ambleside.

The bulletin specifies a one-way system will be implemented, allowing vehicles to travel only in an easterly direction. This temporary traffic measure will span a 70-meter section from the Ambleside junction. The restrictions are scheduled to begin at 20:00 hours on Wednesday, 28th February 2024, and will continue until 06:00 hours on Friday, 1st March 2024.

These works, carried out overnight by Ground Up Solutions on behalf of WHP Telecoms, are part of the gas service disconnection works in the area. To minimise disruption, the works are planned to occur overnight.

During the period of the one-way closure, an alternative route will be available for affected motorists. This diversion will take drivers via Ambleside, A6011 Radcliffe Road, A6520 Radcliffe Road, A60 Loughborough Road, A606 Melton Road, and Melton Gardens, or vice versa.
