The organisation responsible for bringing the rooftop monsters to Nottingham are marking the arrival of the festive season by wrapping a city centre building in a delightful festive red bow – bringing a moment of magic to Bridlesmith Gate for the festive season.
It’s in Nottingham are emulating the tradition started by Cartier in New York by wrapping Bridlesmith House with an elegant illuminated red bow to give it the appearance of a giant Christmas present.
Visitors to the city centre can expect to see the bow in situ from Friday 17 November and into the New Year.

It’s in Nottingham are also running the ‘Big Red Bow’ selfie competition, with the prize of a meal for 8 people to celebrate the holiday season at Nottingham’s newest Mexican restaurant, Taquero. To enter, shoppers and visitors to the city just need to post a photo of the Big Red Bow on Instagram before midnight on Sunday 10 December 2023 and tag @itsinnottingham in the post.

We wanted to create a visual impact and festive experience that attracts visitors to the city and puts shoppers in the festive spirit.”
