Two Rushcliffe recycling team members have been praised after helping a lady who was suffering a suspected heart attack.
A spokesperson for Rushcliffe Borough Council said:
‘Care and compassion in our community. Our R2Go team members Simon and Tristan were in the right place at the right time this week to assist an elderly resident who suffered a suspected heart attack at the roadside.
‘Her relative who was with her at the time of the incident shared her gratitude to the two crew members for assisting her aunt out of the car and putting her into the recovery position before paramedics arrived.’
The woman said: “I just wanted to say that I really appreciated their kindness at what was a very traumatic and scary time for me.”
Great work guys, you are a credit to RBC!
