Football fans looking to cheer on The Three Lions during this year’s UEFA European Football Championship, will be able to capture all the excitement of the live games in Germany on the East Midlands’ largest outdoor screen at Binks Yard.

Kicking off on 16 June, for the first of England’s group-stage matches against Serbia, the venue’s iconic outdoor terrace will be transformed into a lively hub for fans to come along and support the England men’s team, as they begin their journey to achieve European glory, with tickets to this first game already sold out.

For just £5 a ticket, and with screenings taking place for the duration of the tournament, in addition to enjoying the games on Binks Yard’s huge seven-metre wide, high-definition outdoor screen, fans will also be able to take advantage of its newly-upgraded outdoor area. Key updates include anewly-installed stretch tent for all-weather cover from the elements, an extended outside bar offering and food from the Binks Yard outdoor kitchen.

Ben Hicklin, head of events at Binks Yard said: “The Binks outdoor terrace has had a raft of recent upgrades, including the installation of our brand-new stretch tent, meaning there has never been a better location to cheer on The Three Lions during this year’s UEFA European Football Championship. In addition to being able to capture the beautiful game with fellow sports fans, football lovers will also be able to enjoy food from the Binks Yard indoor and outdoor menu. And, with the first match set to take place on Father’s Day, there’s never been a better way to treat Dad.

Top menu choices for the first England match on 16 June include grass-fed beef, thyme roasted half chicken, slow cooked crispy ham hock and chestnut and butternut squash nut loaf. Diners will also be treated to a selection of must-have trimmings including garlic triple-cooked roast potatoes, seasonal buttered greens and honey glazed roast carrots. For those who don’t fancy Binks Yard’s extensive roast options, can instead opt for other standout options on the menu including chimichurri cod, chicken caesar salad and cheeseburger or BBQ burger.

Ben added: “Summers at Binks are always really special, but this year with so many fantastic sports events and a whole calendar of exciting Binks events, whether you’re a sports fan, a music lover or just looking for a fun day out with family and friends, we have something for everyone this summer.”
